Located on beautiful Silver Lake, Barnard General Store was established in 1832 and stands as one of the longest running General Stores in Vermont.

Tues-Friday: Made-to-order egg sandwiches and pancakes, served until 11am
Saturday + Sunday: Full Breakfast Menu served until 12 noon

Every Thursday they host some of the finest musicians from Vermont & around the world at BarnArts Thursday Music Series

Thursday music is supported partly with tickets that are priced on a sliding scale ranging from $5 – $20 and support both BarnArts’ and the farmers’ expenses related to Thursday events. Please pay what you can afford. They we rely on the generosity of our community to continue hosting live outdoor music all summer long.

If you can’t plug in Fable Farm, use their address 1525 Royalton Turnpike, Barnard, VT 05031.
Below are directions from the two closest major towns.
Directions from Barnard (from the center of town next to the General Store and Silver Lake:
1. Head West on Stage Road (Town Highway 1) for 1.2 miles
2. At the fork, go left onto Royalton Turnpike. Follow the Turnpike for 1.5mi
3. You will see signs for Fable Farm and Feast & Field, turn left onto Orchard Hill Road.
Directions from South Royalton:
1. Head Northeast on Chelsea St across the bridge over the White River
2. Turn left onto VT-14 N and drive for 3.2 miles
3. Turn left onto Royalton Hill Rd/Royalton Turnpike, cross the train tracks and the bridge across the White River.
4. Turn left onto Royalton Turnpike. Drive up the hill following the Turnpike for 6.3mi
5. You will see signs for Fable Farm and Feast & Field, turn right onto Orchard Hill Road.
